Initial D Lair
This is an anime series by Shigeno Shuichi about motor racing. Initial D is about Fujiwara Takumi, an 18 years old high school student and the son of the owner of the local tofu shop, who were a skill driver during his youth age and still are, at Akina. Takumi generally is very calm and a rather pleasant fellow who doesn't anger easily, and takes the racing challenges in almost amused stride with never a boast or brag. He's the picture of samurai control. However, his anger can come out if insults, threats or injury to anyone he cares about occur. His true competitive nature comes out behind the wheel, but even then he's usually the picture of calm and concentration.
Akina is a very popular spot for car racing as the road are hardly used by other vehicles, and there are plenty of tricky turns that will satisfy the experienced drivers.
